Tokyo, Japan – Total Sports Asia K.K. (TSA) announced today an extension of the television rights agreement with “Combat Channel” of Russia for Japanese sumo. The new deal will see more than 30 hours of sumo coverage from the Grand Sumo Tournaments in 2010/11 broadcast in 15 countries in the CIS and the Baltic states. The territories within the scope of the deal include Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
“Combat Channel” is a part of a Russian holding company Red Media Group.
